BASIC RULES OF ACCESS AND USE OF THE FACILITIES OF THE
ANDALUSIAN CENTER FOR DEVELOPMENT BIOLOGY (September 2021 update)
- Access to the CABD is prohibited to anyone with symptoms compatible with COVID-19, including fever.
- You must quarantine for a minimum of 10 days after close contact (under 1,5 m for longer than 15 min. without wearing a face mask) with a person who tested positive for COVID-19.
- It is mandatory to disinfect your hands with hydroalcoholic gel at the entrance of the facilities.
- It is mandatory to sign the daily entrance register.
- The use of surgical masks inside the center is mandatory.Masks should be changed daily.
- A safety distance of 1.5 m must be maintained for continued work at labs, animal facilities or services.
- Lifts must only be used by one person at a time.
- The dinning-room facilities are open. Indoor tables should be 1.5 m apart, with only 2 people per table. Terrace tables can be used by up to 4 people, keeping tables 1.5 m apart.
- Students are allowed at the CABD as long as they can keep safety distance measures.
- The conference room can be used by a speaker and 30 people sitting at ascribed seats separated by 1.20 m.
- Other meeting-rooms can be used keeping a minimum distance of 1.20 m between seats.
- Work should be done on site at the CABD whenever possible. PIs can ask the CABD’s director for exceptional work-from-home exemptions. In such cases it is recommended to keep work from home one day per week only.
- Personnel who belong to a COVID-19 high-risk group should ask their Institute's "Personal de Recursos Humanos" for work-from-home permits, if granted, these should be presented to the CABD´s director for approval.
